I have a roommate that is from China but she came to the U.S. to go to college. Can she travel to Mexico on vacation for 5 days? If so, does she need any special documents or anything?
Passport holders of the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao are exempt from the visa requirement to Mexico; citizen of mainland China require a visa to get to Mexico. The U.S: visa does not count in Mexico, only U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are visa-waived regardless of their citizenship.

Despite their seemingly impenetrable western facade, the Sandia Mountains of central New Mexico have been home to humankind for millennia. Ancient cultures ventured into these peaks for the creeks, game, and shelter. The Spanish established protective outposts along the canyons and intermarried with local tribes. Civil War soldiers passed through en route to their infamous battle at Glorieta Pass. Navajos marched around the mountains southern end after the confinement that ended their Long Walk. Anglo settlers cleared the hilly land and built cabins. And tuberculosis patients moved up into primitive resorts, hoping that the mountains abundant sunshine and fresh air would help them heal. Today the tiny resorts and traditional hamlets of the Sandias are established villages and communitiesCarnuel, Tijeras, San Antonio, Cedar Crest, Sandia Park, San Antonito, Placitas, and othersand the rough dirt roads that once saw the passing of ox carts are highways and even an interstate. Im going on vacation to mexico, and am trying to eat healthy/maintain my diet. What foods and dishes should I look for that are healthy? Which ones should I avoid?
I know there is a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, but when it comes time to order an entree, what should I look for? Is there a lot of oils and butter used in cooking?
Thanks
Your question seems like if Mexico had just one kind of food, come on! this is a huuuuge country, there are vegan and vegetarian restaurants… french, italian, chinese food, sushi bars… etc
(except if you’re going to a lonely town away from any city)

My friend was born in the Philipines, moved to the US when he was young and became a permanent resident. He recently became a US citizen through the US Army last 4th of July in Baghdad. So he is returning from deployment but hasn’t gotten his US passport yet. Can he travel to Mexico?
I believe that the restrictions are Command based. If stationed on Ft. Bliss then Boys Town is Off Limits. TJ is also Off Limits to Marines in S CA. Unless there is an Army wide ban he can go. He will need to inform his command…just a guess….since he will be out of the country. He will need the ID that the guys checking at the border want to see.
Military ID is OK, but only when traveling on orders. Read all at the link.
3 of us drove from Germany to England once, we took a ferry from Belgium. Our Leave Orders indicated we were going to England and they were stamped as if a passport.
