Collected Works of E. B. Tylor
Author: admin
Sir Edward Burnett Tylor (1832-1917) is generally regarded as the founder of anthropology. The focus of his work was the application of scientific method to the study of human society and the development of culture. His work was based on an evolutionary model of ethnology, proposing that civilized society had originated from natural (rather that supernatural) processes that could be observed in “savage” or “uncivilized” contemporary societies. A tour of Mexico inspired his first work, “Anahuac, or Mexico and the Mexicans” (1861), a travelogue with ethnological observations of the 1855 trip. This was followed in 1865 by “Researches into the Early History of Mankind,” his first systematic ethnological look at the world. His two volume work of 1871, “Primitive Culture,” resulted in his election as a Fellow of the Royal Society and established him as the leading English anthropologist of his generation.

Roads Less Travelled: Sun Recordings
Author: admin

Varese’s Roads Less Travelled contains 18 hard-to-find Sun recordings from Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two, songs that were either not released or weren’t issued as A-sides or languished as album tracks. This is actually a bit of a godsend, since Cash and the Tennessee Two were at their peak at Sun and it’s a little difficult to dig deep into their catalog for lost treasures, unless you’re willing to delve into Bear Family’s overly exhaustive Man in Black set. This culls the very best elements of that set, and while there’s no revelations, there are plenty of small gems to enjoy and it’s easily the best choice for serious listeners (who are not completists) after they’ve absorbed the very best of his Sun material.

If you are flying to Mexico from outside Mexico then you DO need a passport.
Direct flight, or 12 stop flights makes no diffrent, to leave and enter a country you MUST have a passport.
