What is a great oceanfront condo in La Playa del Carmen in Mexico that you enjoyed?

Its not "la' Playa del Carmen.

But anyway…. if you want a nice oceanfront condo google "pueblito escondido" and "aldea thai".

You can get one for somewhere around 1,500 per week.

???????

My family has stayed at the Mexico Iberostars 3 times and at the Iberostars in Domician Republic twice. I would definitly recommend the Iberostar in the Domician! We just love it there. We stayed at theIberostar Bavaro in Punta Cana twice in the DR and it is great!! The staff is so nice and helpful, the activties are sooo fun, and the pool&beach is gorgeous there. The last time we went to mexico (last march) we stayed at the Iberostar Quetzel in Playa Del Carmen and we had a terrible experience. The staff was very unattanetenative, there were not that many fun activities at the beach and pool, and i hate to put down Iberostar because the company is great butlthe hotel was a mess. If you are into the beach, DO NOT GO HERE. my family was so excited to go to beach and when we got there, we were so dissapointed. Let me try to describe it for you–There was construction everywhere. Everytime we tryed to relax and tan the jackhammers would start up. The beach was a diaster, there were huge sandbags the size of whales stacked along the edge of the ocean. So it was impossible to just swim around in the ocean for alittle bit. the only people in the water were the little kids who would throw them selves over the sandbags and jump into the deep ocean which looked very dangerous to me, because when i tryed it the waves kept thrashing me back into the sandbags and it took so much energy to finally pull myself back onto the large sandbag. So thats what we experinced. I hope you check into the Iberostars in the Domician though.
