I’m going to mexico in July, and not fond of the "domestic beer"

Bud and bud lite should be available, but there are other beers to try… try something new and refreshing!

The tour called: Tapitio tours has double decker buses that have a very nice city tour. This would be my first choice of things to do, that way, you can revisit places that you saw on the tour.

Another ‘must see place’ is San Juan de Dios marketplace downtown. You won’t believe everything that is for sale.

Do you need a visa to travel to Mexico on holiday if your Polish?

My friend and I were planning to travel to America but it was such a hassle getting her a visa we decided to try somewhere else! I feel sorry for her, shes been in England for 6 years, has a full time job and is properly settled over here but just to apply for one its 150 dollars and an interrogation at the US embassy. And then there’s no guarantee she’l even get one!

No, citizen of Poland do not need a visa for a tourist stay in Mexico for up to 180 days.

However you will need to get either a direct flight to Mexico from Europe or a flight on Air Canada with a layover in Toronto. To fly with a layover in the United States requires a U.S. C-1 transit visa which involves the same fee as for a tourist visa ($131).

A Canadian transit visa is free or charge and it is only required for Polish citizen who do not hold one of the new electronic passports with a microchip. Polish citizen holding an e-passport can also be granted visa free stay in Canada. So you probably could also take a several day stop in Canada into consideration before you proceed on to Mexico.

Since there seems to be an increase in the kidnappings/killings/beheadings of Americans in Mexico, is it safe to go to a resort down there for a vacation?

I would imagine the resorts are pretty safe. Anyone know?

There are occasional shootings in hotel resorts. But killings of innocent tourists are rare.

Given all of the violence reported in the news lately?
Would you plan a Mexico vacation at all?
This is NOT a cruise question.
Land vacations only!!

I would plan a vacation in Mexico as quickly as I would plan one for Afghanistan. In fact, I would go to Afghanistan faster than I would to Mexico. At least there I would have U.S. troops to help protect me. Why anyone would consider Mexico is a mystery to me. To save a couple of bucks you would risk your life and the life of loved one’s? I guess so if your and their life is that cheap. There are plenty of safe places to go. Mexico is not one of them. What ever you do , good luck.

Author: admin

We are taking a cruise next month and will be visiting Cozumel Mexico. We went there before and have already visited Tulum; this time we are planning an ATV tour through the jungle. But, would love to hear about better options that might be available. If anyone has any ideas, please drop me a line and let me know what made the adventure so cool. We are game for pretty much anything.

ISLA PASSION, nothing like it anywhere

As consumers learn more and more about their health care options, people are increasingly turning to holistic medicine to aid the healing process. Homeopathic and holistic treatments take a big-picture approach that looks at the dynamics of the entire body rather than focusing on a single issue.

Unfortunately, most standard American health care providers consider homeopathic treatments out-of-scope and require costly out-of-pocket payments.

Now, with new medical travel options, you have access to a different kind of health care–world-class homeopathic treatments performed by extensively trained doctors who appreciate the combined benefits of traditional medicine and holistic health.

Mexico has become a premier location for American medical tourism, with holistic practitioners versed in the following types of treatments:

Ozone therapy for back pain–a revolutionary treatment for disc herniation. In this therapy, a highly beneficial molecule, Ozone (O3), is injected inside the diseased intervertebral disk in trouble. Ozone reduces the production of pain-causing substances that are produced by a diseased or injured disc. It sets off production of antioxidant enzyme system that works on injured tissues that have been subject to long standing oxygen injury, releasing chemicals that oppose inflammation and indirectly relieve pain.

Colon hydrotherapy– a gentle internal massage and bath using warm, purified water for safe, painless, and effective of cleansing your body’s accumulated waste and toxins.

Cell therapy rejuvenation–a cutting-edge technology to transplant healthy cells into damaged tissue or cells. This process of biocellular rejuvenation stimulates healing, joint cartilage rebuilding, and a stronger immune system.

Chelation- the use of chelating agents to detoxify poisonous metal agents such as mercury, arsenic, and lead by converting them to a chemically inert form that can be excreted without further interaction with the body.

Medical travel allows for personal freedom in your health care. If you are looking for an alternative to your current health care options, do your research on reputable medical tourism companies. Or, for more information, visit www.healthtravelguides.com.

I’ve travelled to Panama at least a dozen times and stayed at countless beach hotels in Panama on my travels. You’re probably going to need a little background information when you first travel to Panama before you go and even before you start looking for hotels in Panama City. I believe Panama is one of those undiscovered tourist destinations which is only just now opening up to visitors. So it’s one of those undiscovered secrets that will rapidly change as more and more people from North America search for another sunny vacation spot apart from the traditional Caribbean islands such as Cuba, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Jamaica etc.

Location of Panama

Panama is officially known as the Republic of Panama. It is most southern country in Central America on an the isthmus which connects North and South America. It lies between two great seas, the Pacific Ocean in the and the Caribbean Sea in the North. The total population of Panama is about 3.1 million people but this number is expanding with the increasing number of retirees who are selecting Panama as a home.

The Economy of Panama

As far as the economy goes, Panama is the third biggest economy in Central America. It is the largest consumer of resources in Central America. The unemployment rate is about 7.2% and has a poverty rate of about 20%. However, its infrastructure and economy is solid and growing. For many tourists, it’s becoming a new vacation destination for travelers from North America who search for a place to escape the bad winter weather. Its industries are centered on the commerce, banking, tourism, private industry and trading benefitting from its privileged geographic situation. In Panama City, there is lots of construction going on and real estate is booming. Retirees are heading south to check out Panama as a retirement destination. All this will come as a surprise for those who don’t know much about Panama.

Currency of Panama

American dollars are used here mostly. The national currency is the balboa.

What to See in Panama

The tourist to Panama will find there are lots of delights to discover in Panama as well as the famous Panama Canal. Although Panama is most famous because of the Panama Canal, the country is famous for snorkeling, bird watching and hiking. The miles and miles of white sand beaches of the coastline are splendid and unspoiled.

Security Warning for Some Areas of Panama

You must avoid certain areas in Panama because of smugglers, bandits, Colombian guerrillas and paramilitary forces in Darién Province from the Columbian border along the Tuira River to Yaviza because they target tourists. Much of Darién National Park is okay, but be advised to take a travel guide with you or stay away from it altogether. Another area to avoid is the Madden Dam in Chagre National Park for the same reasons.

The Weather in Panama

When is the best time of the year to vacation in Panama? There are actually two different seasons, a dry season which starts mid-December and lasts to mid-April and a rainy season which starts from mid-April to December. On the Caribbean coast of Panama, it seems to rain all the time, but less so in February to March, September to October. Days are generally hot throughout the year, with an average of 32 degrees Celsius, (90 degrees Fahrenheit to approximately 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit in the evenings. During the rainy season, the humidity is quite high. If you are traveling to the mountains, it is cooler with a temperature ranging from about 10 – 18 degrees Celsius (50 – 64 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year.

So you have it now, a basic introduction to the Republic of Panama the place you have decided to explore for your next southern trip away from the winter storms of North America. Not a country to be missed.
