What are safe and interesting places to visit for a fortnight tour? Thanks for useful tips! :-))

I’d say that Germany, the States (Arizona) and Spain are 100% safe, HK is safe an Mexico is mostly OK (as far as you stay in touristic areas and avoid the border with the US). Philippines… mmm I’d not take my kids there on holidays. Visit http://travel.state.gov/ for updated information.

Going to cancun next week, Would like to take a tour, any ideas of which one togo to?
would like to see the ruins and snorkel. Up for any suggestions.
Thanks!
We are planning to go to Cozumel also..so any names of a tour place would be great…or has anyone ever took the jeep tour?

Xcaret is a really good day out. You can swim in the underground rivers. So much to see and do. We really enjoyed it and there is a very good show in the evening there which is all included in the price. Dont forget to go in the butterfly place - they are big and beautiful !

Look it up on the net. You wont be dissapointed.

Take the ferry over to Isla Majeurs - hire a "golf Trolley" transport and go around the island.

We really enjoyed quad biking - through "jungle vegetation and out onto a beautiful islocated beach. Great Fun.

Where you can visit the Turtle place. Swim with Dolphins and see iguanas all over the place.

Do the Nighclub trip,(Whatever your age) and try and do one where you end up at Coco Bongos - its a really good evening.

We are a mixture of ages from 25 through to 64!) and we enjoyed everything.

By the way - Take a bus trip down to Asda Wallmart and book your trips in the Kiosk inside the shop - they are much cheaper and the more you book the cheaper they get !

Its the most fantastic holiday we’ve ever done.

I want to plan a trip to Mexico this summer, preferably on the western side like Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco etc. Just want some suggestions on where i should go. What city has the best nightlife, activities, tours, etc. Also what resorts are good? I am looking for an all-inclusive resort with good service and food and nice accomodations. Any recommendations would be a big help! Thanks!

Tours in Cozumel Mexico?

Author: admin

We are taking a cruise next month and will be visiting Cozumel Mexico. We went there before and have already visited Tulum; this time we are planning an ATV tour through the jungle. But, would love to hear about better options that might be available. If anyone has any ideas, please drop me a line and let me know what made the adventure so cool. We are game for pretty much anything.

ISLA PASSION, nothing like it anywhere

I’m travelling to LA from Australia in October and would like to do a 4-5 day tour to Mexico. Ideally one that includes snorkeling.

Does anyone know any tours or have been on a great one that I should know about?

Thanks for your help.

That time of year, for snorkeling you are going to want to be on the Sea of Cortez or Cabo because the Pacific Ocean is pretty cold.

The Cabo San Lucas area is probably the best choice for someone visiting for the first time. You can get a place in the downtown/centro area and there will be plenty of vendors there who cater to the cruise ship visitors, and they will offer trips to quiet beaches, jet skis, snorkeling, fishing and other activities.

I am not one aware of one single "tour" but if you find a hotel or condo you can rent, they will be able to refer you to local vendors. But when I was there, just walking around, people could figure out that I was a tourist and started asking me if I wanted things. They are very industrious… they will tell you they can find what you want, and they find it!

I live in Baja and enjoy venturing out and finding a local, independent provider rather than a tourist specific supplier. It will be cheaper and if you engage them, you will have more fun.

I have no experience with this site, but after a quick search, it looked decent.

Other warm weather cities in Baja you might consider are La Paz or Loreto. Smaller… you will be in a less touristy environment, but lovely for warm water activities. Depends on what else is important to you.

Good Luck… I am sure you will have a great time.

hi! my husband and i are taking a cruise from Miami to Cozumel Mexico, we already plan on going on one of the tours through the cruise line once we get to Cozumel. But we don’t know how much money we should take we us. we don’t really drink alcohol but we would like to do the different activities the cruise line offers, like going to the spa! thanks!!!

It depends on what’s included on the cruise - is it all inclusive or do you have to pay for food/drink/entertainment? If all that’s covered, and you’re only worrying about spending money, I’d say a hundred bucks a day would be enough for each person, unless you plan on buying art or souveniers or anything like that. Cancun/Cozumel can be relatively expensive when it comes to shopping/eating/fun (it’s the richest part of mexico!). So…. no less than $100/day would be my advice.

I am planning on going on an escorted tour of 8 days that will run from Mexico City to Cancun. Their lowest rates are in January and the weather seems to be in the 70’s with some rain. Would you recommend that time of year?

Yes, of course! That would be a great choice.

Have fun and enjoy!

I just went on the Caravan tour of Copper Canyon and am looking into taking their Mexico City to Cancun tour. What other tours of Mexico can you recommend that are under $2000 (plus air) for a single?

I’ve always wanted to do the Expreso Maya. The website says they are temporarily closed due to track repairs though. Not sure it gives an indication of when they will reopen. I think it may be outside of the $2000 for a single but still might be something for you to consider.
