I wanna go somewhere warm to like Mexico. I would love to go on another cruise but it’s so expensive. Does Anyone know of any deals?

Cheap and vacations do not belong in the same sentence……..if you want to save money on a vacation ……..stay home……….

I have been to both places. I went to Maui and i went to Playa Del Carmen Mexico. I would go back to either but i wanted to know which one you would suggest or if there are anymore places that i could go. We also like the places with lots to do.

Aloha from Maui,
As a resident of Hawaii and a travel agent for 20+ years my answer to "where is better place to go" is Hawaii!

I have been to Mexico a few times. Once I got really sick and that ruined that trip!

Personally I like Hawaii much better. The food is great, the beaches are beautiful, there is lots to do, the people are friendly, no language barrier or exchange rate to deal with, plus a very low crime rate! Those are all a big plus in my book when traveling.

As far as which island works best for you I would suggest you check out a blog I have written on the subject. I will enclose the link below.

Is Mexico being beamed through the world as an atractive or dangerous place to visit?

I am retired and live in Mexico. The violence exits but it greatly exaggerated by the right wing media.

a lot think due to the cenotes, what d you guys think?

because the beaches on the east cost US cannot even compare to how gorgeous the beaches in Mexico are!! Other than the stunning beaches, the weather is usually beautiful, everyone is always nice on this vacation because they’re on vacation and there is always so much to do! The alst time I went to Mexico I went ziplining in the jungle and then swam through the cenotes! and the nightlife is usually a lot of fun too :)

He is not a usa citizen since he’s from China, but can he leave to Mexico for vacation and still be able to go back usa? Visa is not expired.

Nope. A USA visa is different from a Mexican visa.

m looking for cruise vacation deals startng from edmonton canada,do the travel agents include the flight rates to port of call??do they take care of visa if it includes US ports etc??is it a round trip finishing at edmonton.
Is there any cruise travel agents u would recomend from ur personal experience in edmonton.

If you’re asking if you can buy a package which includes travel to and from the ship’s departure point, yes, some cruises offer that. You’ll just have to call a few agents or check some websites to see if you can find one from Edmonton. I have no idea what they do about visas for entry to other countries. That’s what travel agents do, is answer questions like this.

One of the best aspects of any five star world cruises is going to be the food. In fact some of the best and most interesting cuisines are served up on these cruises. You can even go on five star world cruise vacations where the point is simply to explore the world and learn how to cook with one great chef who is a guest on board.

Cruise lines are becoming more aware of how attracted people are to celebrity chefs and learning new ways to cook and what better way to pack people on board than to turn the five star world cruises into a floating five star restaurant as well.

If you are on a diet a five star around the world cruise is probably not for you.(http://www.amttravel.com/cruise-lines/around-the-world-cruises.html)This is because you might be served as many as five meals a day. Aside from the regular lunch and dinner you will probably be served tea and a midnight buffet as well. If you get hungry in the middle of the night there is usually some kind of all night self service buffet located somewhere on the ship as well.

You can expect all different styles of foods and food presentations and for many different types of cuisine styles to be served. It is not uncommon at all for there to be French, Italian, Asian and Fusion cuisines available on board and created out of one kitchen. These are not your regular restaurant meals either.

Many of them are gourmet in flavor. It can also depend on the cruise line you are on. Exotic cuisines such as Indonesian, Pilipino or Tibetan food are currently very au courant on a five star world cruise as are the famous fusion cuisines from Miami, Florida and New Orleans.

Cocktails are also usually quite spectacular on these voyages and may be themed and named after wherever you are going. You can expect your martinis to be cleverly mixed together and to boast some elaborate and unusual garnishes. If you are going to Hawaii or Mexico Tikki themed cocktails are often served on this type of five star world cruise.
These trips can also be highly educational. You can also do things like learn how to make works of art out of food or how to make your own sculpture out of ice.

Aside from the usual dinners there is also usually some kind of special dinners. Almost every five star world cruise holds a final farewell Captain’s Dinner to mark the end of the voyage. These are usually fantastic affairs that include delicacies like shrimp cocktail, Caviar, pate de fois grois, and classic surf and turf items such as racks of lamb, beef wellington, lobster thermidor, or broiled lobster tails.

Don’t forget dessert if you attend one of these Captain’s dinners. Typical offering include marzipan wrapped ice cream, Baked Alaska, cherries jubilee, and other amazing delights. It is a good thing that they have gyms on these five star world cruise ships or many people taking part in them would gain weight.

In its original form, the serape was intended as cheap accessible outer clothing. First worn by the poorer working folk of Mexico and Guatemala, serapes refers to the traditional striped weave that makes up the Mexican blanket or serape which was worn as a garment. The serape which can still be found today was made of a soft rectangular blanket with an opening in the middle where the wearer inserted his head.

Today, the serapes, often known as a falsa blanket or Saltillo have evolved into a more versatile blanket design. On vacations to Mexico and Central America, these serapes blankets can be found in the numerous markets and vendor stalls. The serape is noted for its inter-mixed, band-like colorful design. The largest stripe is always the primary color and repeated throughout weave, along with complimentary colors. Because of the nature of the weave, each finished serape blanket is a beautiful, unique work of textile art.

Because of their unique character and colorful charm, serapes add a decorative flair to any room in the house. They are a great addition for those looking to create a feeling of warmth to a room. If you are looking to overcome a dull feeling to any room, serapes bring life back to a room with their rich and vibrant colors accents. With their decorative versatility, serapes are unmatched in their use. Serapes can be used as a couch throw, table cover, bedspread or even a light floor covering or wall hanging! It is not uncommon to find serapes folded in a fan-shape to accentuate their colors hanging on a wall in many restaurants in Mexico. For those who want to recapture the flavor and feel of their Mexican vacation, a serape rekindles those pleasant memories.

Popular with just about everyone, Mexican serape blankets are a versatile textile. They are as much a hardy Yoga blanket, a picnic or beach blanket as a decorative touch. If you want to make a stay at the beach or a picnic extra special, lay out a serape and let its color add to the moment. You can be sure to expect compliments too!

A serape can also be used with a Mexican hammock for the ultimate in outdoor garden decorating style. The Mexican hammocks come in one solid color or multicolored rainbow. Just stretch out your hammock, through a serape across for extra comfort, add a pillow or two and you have the perfect outdoor sanctuary. You’ll never want to leave!

Serapes also make for a great gift. Because of their unique color and warmth, they make for great housewarming gifts or make a great going away present for someone off to college. For those who seem to struggle with finding the right gift for someone who is difficult to shop for, just watch as they light up when they unwrap your special gift to them.
