I Love Mexican Vacations
Vacations in Mexico remain one of the best travel deals available.
Can U.S. Citizens Purchase property in Rosarito, Mexico?
I am looking to invest on property but would like some input. If we are, then what are the prices for condos and homes. I am looking online and wanting to see some financing options.
US (and other international) citizens can purchase and own property in Mexico (including land) provided it is over 'x' (I think 50) miles from the coasts, borders, indigenous autonomous areas and the Cuidad de Mexico.
Unfortunately that takes out most if not all prime land in the country. To obtain this other land you can own it informally via a licenced Mexican realtor or government department.

Americans cannot own property in Mexico.
Rosarito is a beautiful area. You can get a lovely house right by the see for just under six digits.
Of course you won't actually "own" it, you'll just be leasing. You can "own" the building, just not the land it sits on.

US citizens purchase international properties all the time. I would think if you have the money, they got the time to sell it to you.

Do your research.
Doing something like finding a "Mexican Chick" and if you got the cash things can be done is a great way for you to get ripped off.
