		<description>u called on the 10 day witch sounds like to me it is still in the time limit u should call the credit card  company and tell them what happen if that dont work try to sell the books one line may have to take a lose but at least it wont be the hole thing or contact a lawyer thats what i would do&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

Cancelling BEFORE the 10 days means not later than 11 days.  Day 10 is within the 10 day period.  You called too late.  Resort areas are usually booked up in advance for the holidays.  The closer to the reserved date you cancel, the less likely they will find someone else to book the place.   That is undoubtedly covered in the reservation ageement.
