I Love Mexican Vacations
Vacations in Mexico remain one of the best travel deals available.
Is it safe to go to resorts in Mexico?
Since there seems to be an increase in the kidnappings/killings/beheadings of Americans in Mexico, is it safe to go to a resort down there for a vacation?
I would imagine the resorts are pretty safe. Anyone know?
There are occasional shootings in hotel resorts.But killings of innocent tourists are rare.

Some close family and friends just got back from a vacation in Mexico (on a resort) and they had a wonderful & safe trip. (:

Of course, the only insecure places to go is Ciudad Juárez in Chihuahua, Tijuana in Baja california and some places of the Southwest.

The violence in Mexico is in the border towns…the resorts are 1000 t0 2000 miles from the border and are perfectly safe. NO Americans have been beheaded. Unless you hang out in a border town or are involved in drugs, you will be safe…just the the over one million American and Canadian citizens living in Mexico.

Yes, it is safe to go to the tourist resorts for vacations in Mexico.
You can go to great tourist resorts in Cancun, Maya Riviera or Cozumel, which are located in the southeast of Mexico in Yucatan Peninsula.
These travel destinations in the Mexican Caribbean have beautiful beaches and there are many activities and attractions.
