We took 31 people, including very seasoned travelers and everyone absolutely loved it. It was our 2nd trip to the Barcelo and both trips were awesome. Great pools, awesome beach, huge property. Food is not horrible, but not fantastic either -- but it's very palatable. Something like 14 different specialty restaurants (which have better food) and 6 or 7 buffets. They have all the ocean games and activities -- wind surfing, water bikes, scuba. We love that place. There are even discounts on pricing. They are not bad but your stuck there. All your meals, drinks and activities. if there is problem or you don't like something you have already paid too late to change. On the hand making reservations at a hotel you are free to explore other options. for your meals drinks and entetainment.
