They are both in a nice area of Cancun, but I'm not positive if they allow "spring breakers". You might want to call and check. Moderately priced, all-inclusive, great staff, nice beaches, great location, etc. I'd go with a vacation package that includes your air and hotel for one price and also includes transfers from the airport (important as these can be expensive sometimes). I booked myself on http://www.deals2cancun.com and got a great deal because of their cash back offer. everything went super smooth and we've already booked our next vacation. Another resort you could look into is the Oasis Cancun... I think they DO accept spring breakers as well, it's still all-inclusive but not be as great as the two Rius.
