Vacations in Mexico remain one of the best travel deals available.
Should I book a snorkeling tour in Mexico before I go or when I get there?
I am going to the Riviera Maya in 2 weeks and dont know if I should book a snorkeling tour before I leave, or after I get out there. Price is not a HUGE concern, but more the quality of the trip. Any suggestions?
Wait till you get there … much better idea of what's available and probably cheaper

As an experianced traveller, I can assure you: definitely book ahead.
The most popular outings sell out in advance, and snorkeling is very popular.

If you're going between May and November, I'd wait for this reason: WEATHER. My wife and I were going to Cozumel (from Playa) to snorkle, but an offshore storm blew in. We had to scrap the whole outing. I'd play it by ear when you're there. I saw lots of tours in the area, so I wouldn't be concerned about availability. However, weather might be more stable in peak periods in November-March to permit advance planning.

I would wait, because mabey there are more options U don't know about and would like to do instead of snorkeling.
