Vivo en Vivo (CD)
Mexico CD - The popularity of Mexican teen pop sensation Timbiriche’s 25th anniversary reunion tour of 2007 led to the release of Vivo en Vivo, a compilation of ten live recordings from the tour, plus a few new songs. Recorded between May 2007 and October 2007, the live recordings include some of Timbiriche’s best-known songs, including “Tu y Yo Somos Uno Mismo,” “Princesa Tibetana,” and their theme song, “La Banda Timbiriche.” The quality of these recordings is very good, and anyone who was at one of the reunion shows — or wishes they had been — should find this album (especially the CD/DVD edition, which adds video) the next best thing to actually being there. The three new songs (”Domar el Aire,” “Vuelvo a Comenzar,” “Atado a Ti”) are OK — comparable to the songs on the re-recorded greatest-hits album 25 (2007) — but the primary attraction of Vivo en Vivo is the live recordings. - Vivo en Vivo (CD)
