Can A Convicted Felon, Still On Probation In California, Travel To Mexico?
Hello.
A friend of mine is a convicted felon, on probation in California, Santa Clara County and is planning his honeymoon in Mexico. Will he be allowed to travel to Mexico?
Only if his probation allows this. He should ask his PO or risk getting violated.

I don’t think so,you aren’t suppose to leave a state when you are on probation,a warrant will be served for an arrest if he does and it will be considered a felony.

Probably not, but I had a friend with a PO that made exceptions for people who followed the rules, worked, passed drug tests, and didn’t give him any nonsense. Your friend should ask his PO, because ultimately, the PO gets to say if he has violated the terms of his probation.
