Can i travel to mexico with a passport and id that don’t match?
i recently got married and I haven’t changed my passport information. Could i still travel by land to mexico?
Take your marriage license with you too. That should answer any questions about the name difference. Many newly married couples go to Mexico.

You do not need any other I.D. so don’t show any other I.D., just the passport. Get your name changed on the passport when you return.

If you plan to use a credit card in Mexico, make sure it matches your passport name or you might not always be able to use it.
