I Love Mexican Vacations
Vacations in Mexico remain one of the best travel deals available.
Do I need a visa to travel to Mexico and back?
My husband (a Mexican citizen with permanent residency in the US) my daughter and I (US citizens) are traveling to Mexico for 10 days to visit family. Do my daughter and I need visas to travel? We are flying. Thanks!
If you fly into Mexico, they will automatically issue you a visa. You fill it out on the plane. When you land and go through customs, they may ask you how long you plan to stay, or they may just stamp 6 months and send you on your way.

You don’t need a visa for short term travel…only for longer trips/work purposes. Just bring your passports.

No you don’t need a visa for a short stay (less than 180 days).
