where to go while in vacations in guadalajara jalisco mexico?
The tour called: Tapitio tours has double decker buses that have a very nice city tour. This would be my first choice of things to do, that way, you can revisit places that you saw on the tour.
Another ‘must see place’ is San Juan de Dios marketplace downtown. You won’t believe everything that is for sale.

I really liked Tlaquepaque. It’s a nice area right outside GDL. El Parian has lively nightlife. Nothing crazy but there are shops and open air restaurants with strolling mariachis. There is also a tianguis in Tonala, which is a flea market of sorts. Nothing used (that I saw) but a lot of handmade, regional crafts. Both Tonala and Tlaquepaque are in the area of the city of Guadalajara so it’s a quick trip to get to either place (and totally worth it in my opinion).
